Photos: Academy conquer three peaks
Liverpool Academy staff and players completed a gruelling Yorkshire three-peak challenge on Thursday in memory of Stephen Packer, the U9s player who sadly passed away in November last year.
As a fitting tribute to the youngster, a team of walkers conquered the demanding hike in under nine hours to raise vital funds for Alder Hey Children's hospital in Liverpool.
Academy director Frank McParland completed the trek, as did a group of Liverpool starlets including Yalany Baio and Nathan Burke.
Stephen's mum, dad and granddad also finished the 25-mile walk, despite the severe weather conditions.
So far, over £7,000 has been raised for Alder Hey - but the Academy want you to help them raise even more.
