LFC writer to raise charity funds
LFC Magazine and matchday programme writer John Hynes is taking part in the Chester to Liverpool Cycle on July 7.
He's doing so to raise funds for St. Luke's Hospital in Dublin, a facility which provides treatment for those suffering from cancer.
John said: "St Luke's is a great facility, which has been providing treatment for cancer sufferers from all over Ireland since opening in 1954.
"Funds raised for them through charity events such as this cycle go towards enhancing the care and comfort of patients, so I was only happy to get involved.
"Now I need to do some training to be ready for July 7."
