Jack's back on his old stomping ground
Jack Dunn to paid a special visit to his old school Kensington Primary recently to meet a group of young pupils - and teach them a trick or two during a football coaching session.
Jack's old school is a stone's throw away from where he still lives with his family in the Kensington area of north Liverpool.
The 18-year-old has fired the imaginations of Kopites this season with a series of fierce and physical forward displays.
Despite suffering a hamstring injury back in August 2012, he recovered to net eight goals before the end of the season.
And he's clearly well-loved by the teachers at his old school who remember him fondly; not least head teacher Kitty Davies, who observed: "Jack was great - even if he was a bit of a character."
In the main hall, a group of excited schoolchildren had gathered and were sat legs-crossed in straight lines, nervously awaiting his arrival.
The Academy star entered and the room fell silent before he was quizzed on a wide spectrum of subjects by the fascinated youngsters. Their questions were incisive and hard-hitting - and Jack's answers were equally thoughtful.
When asked what advice he would give to any youngster who wanted to make it at Liverpool's Academy, Jack replied: "Be a good person, and you'll be a good player."
He then spoke about the man who continues to inspire him to give his all on the pitch, his dad, and reflected on the best non-footballing moment he's ever experienced: "Holding my sister's baby for the very first time."
The children were utterly transfixed by the young man sat in front of them, and they watched in almost pin-drop silence for 20 minutes as he answered all their questions.
Then it was off for a coaching session and Jack was more than happy to help out and immerse himself in the skill activities, which featured a series of different drills and exercises.
"It's been great - I've really enjoyed coming back here today. I loved seeing the kids having so much fun," he told Liverpoolfc.com.
"Some of them are decent players - during the target practice a few nearly took my head off with the power of their shots! It's been really enjoyable."
Before it was time to go, Jack gave out a special award for the pupil who worked stood out during the training session. Daniel Noble was the youngster he chose, and Daniel was presented with a special signed picture of Jack in action.
