Daniel Pacheco was the star of the show for loan side Huesca on Sunday with an individual strike and an assist from a free-kick during the Spanish club's 3-1 victory over Xerez.

The 22-year-old created Huesca's second goal with a pinpoint inswinging set-piece for Carlos Diogo to head home, before securing three points with a brilliant piece of solo skill.

Pacheco glided beyond a succession of challenges to work space at the edge of the penalty area and struck a precise finish low into the near corner.

It increased the Spaniard's goal total to five for Huesca since joining the Spanish Second Division outfit on loan at the end of the January transfer window.

Unfortunately for the club, Sunday's positive result was not enough to prevent relegation; Huesca are five points from safety with just one fixture remaining.
