Luis Suarez and Sebastian Coates will be aiming to take another step towards more international glory when Uruguay face Brazil in the mouth-watering Confederations Cup semi-final clash on Wednesday night.

The South American rivals will go head-to-head in Belo Horizonte aiming to set up a final showdown with either Spain or Italy.

Suarez and Coates were both instrumental in ensuring Copa America holders Uruguay progressed into the last four, with the former having fired three goals so far in the tournament to become his country's all-time leading scorer.

Meanwhile, Conor Coady and Jon Flanagan will hope to help England bounce back at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey in the group-stage encounter with Chile.

Three Lions skipper Coady was on the mark in Sunday's tournament opener against Iraq, though having led by two goals, they were ultimately forced to settle for a 2-2 draw.

"We've got to look on the positive side of things," said the Liverpool starlet. "It's tough to do that right now, but look at it this way: we've not been beaten.

"We're still in with a really good chance of going through if we can build on some of the good things we did on Sunday. I thought we looked really good in the first half especially, moved the ball well and should have been further ahead than we were.

"We're massively disappointed, especially to lose the win in the way that we did, but we'll be back up again when the Chile game comes around."

Chile got their Group E campaign up and running with a 2-1 win over Egypt, and Coady is well aware of the threat they'll pose.

"They look sharp, nippy, technical - typical South American team - and they'll be flying after getting such a big win," he added.

"But we feel that we're ready for them. It's another new experience for us, and this is what a World Cup is all about.

"I was saying to the boys the other day that we'll probably never play against Iraq again in our careers, so it's a special opportunity we have here to experience all these different styles of football. It's a learning curve for us all and I'm sure we'll all go back home as better footballers."
