Pics: Who can hurdle the highest?
The Liverpool squad kicked off preparations for the 2013-14 campaign with intensive training sessions at Melwood this week – including a succession of hurdle challenges snapped by our photographer.
Regular faces such as Philippe Coutinho and Steven Gerrard have been joined by summer signings Luis Alberto, Iago Aspas, Simon Mignolet and Kolo Toure at the club's training complex.

Following the launch of the club's new 2013-14 Warrior third kit on Thursday, the squad trained in the black, purple and white strip throughout the day.
