Liverpool Ladies kick off the second half of their FA Women's Super League season in August - and you can support them every step of the way as they continue their push for title glory.

Starting with a vital league clash against Arsenal at the Halton Stadium, the Reds return to action with a flurry of massive games all within the space of a week.

Three days after their opener, Matt Beard's league-leaders will contest the semi-final of the Continental Cup with Lincoln Ladies, before heading to the Stoke Gifford Stadium in an attempt to consolidate their position at the top of the table against second-placed Bristol Academy.

The Reds are tied on 15 points with Bristol at the summit of the league, with Liverpool edging into first place on goal difference after five wins and just one defeat so far.

Last week the squad was further strengthened with the additions of Sarah Gregorius, Ellie Stewart, Katie Zelem and Kate Longhurst.

Beard will also be looking to the likes of the prolific Natasha Dowie - who has scored 10 goals in 12 appearances - to continue her rich vein of form as the Ladies aim to secure silverware.

The manager told Liverpoolfc.com: "This is a really exciting weekend for Liverpool fans with two massive matches taking place on the same day, going live on BT Sport.

"We are obviously delighted with our new signings and are hoping to continue our fantastic run so far.

"Arsenal are a great side and it promises to be a class occasion to kick off the second half of the season. We are really hoping such an exciting fixture will attract a good crowd."

You can show your support for Liverpool by heading down to the Halton Stadium on Saturday, August 3 to cheer on the Ladies against the Gunners in our first game back.

Adults are charged £5 for entry, while concessions are priced at £2.50. Season ticket holders and kids are granted free entry.
