The Bangkok Christian College has a reputation for excellence in sport – and the Liverpool FC Foundation and Warrior came together on Saturday to further harness the potential in some of Thailand's brightest young footballers.

In an event hosted in partnership with CRC Sports - a Warrior distributor in Thailand - coaches from the club's official charity hosted a football clinic at the college, putting the children through their paces with a series of drills and exercises designed to improve their skills.

LFC Foundation coach Eddie Sullivan said: "Over here in Thailand, Liverpool's support is massive so all the children are happy to come along and learn from the coaches. We can show them different skills and help them along their way to becoming better footballers.

"Not every one will become a footballer, but as long as they're learning new skills and enjoying the game, that's fine."

The session, which lasted over an hour and a half, involved a series of varying coaching drills before a number of small-sided games brought the activities to an end.

Liverpool's official mascot Mighty Red then popped along to help with the closing ceremony as participants were presented with certificates.

CRC Sports general manager of marketing, Rojanasit Meenijacin, said: "We sponsor the school team at all levels and we know they have a really strong policy to support sport and to do a lot for children's football.

"We're both on the same page, so we don't have any hesitation about supporting them."
