Thailand is the latest country to receive a heartfelt thank-you from Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers after the Reds concluded their 2013 summer tour with a 3-0 victory over the national team.

The win was the team's third in three tour matches and their fourth overall since pre-season kicked off at Preston earlier in July, all without conceding a goal along the way.

Rodgers was once again encouraged by his side's performance at the Rajamangala National Stadium on Sunday, but it was those passionate supporters who dominated the Northern Irishman's post-match thoughts.

"We're in a good moment at this stage," said the boss.

"It was another step up in our fitness level and our football fitness against a side who play the game tactically really well.

"It's been incredible. Throughout this tour I'll take this with me - even though we'll be miles away back home the people in these three countries will always be in our hearts.

"On behalf of everyone at the football club, I just want to say to all the people in Thailand, thank-you for your welcome. Keep supporting the greatest football family in the world."
