German star Nicole Rolser fired a dramatic winner as Liverpool Ladies strengthened their position at the top of the Women's Super League with a 4-3 win over Chelsea on Saturday night.

It was an incredible night of so many twists and turns and the result sees Matt Beard's side go three points clear at the top of the table.

The London side started quick off the blocks and were 2-0 up inside the opening seven minutes.

However, Fara Williams reduced the arrears and Rolser fired a deserved equaliser.

An own goal saw Chelsea regain the lead before Natasha Dowie headed a dramatic 83rd minute equaliser from a Rolser cross.

Then two minutes later Rolser struck again to spark wild celebrations amongst the Liverpool faithful.

It is the second week running that Beard's charges have come back from seemingly difficult situations and the ladies deserve fantastic credit for another brilliant victory.
