Academy stars shine in Japan
Liverpool's Academy youngsters are doing the club proud having reached the quarter-final of the prestigious Soccer World Challenge in Japan.
Led by coaches Stephen Torpey and Dave Rowe alongside Academy technical director and head of coaching Rodolfo Borrell, the U13 squad have played some fantastic football so far and made many friends along the way.
To reach the quarter-final stage they have beaten Selection of Tokyo 4-1, Kawasaki Frontale 7-1, Yokohama Marinos 3-0 and a 2-1 success over Omiya Ardija.
The youngsters face Cerezo Oska in Thursday's quarter-final.
