Dowie recalled by England
Goal machine Natasha Dowie has been recalled to the England Ladies squad for the 2015 World Cup qualifiers with Belarus and Turkey.
Liverpool's No.9 was controversially left out of the Three Lions' selection for the European Championships, but after firing 16 goals in 19 games for Matt Beard's Super League leaders, she is back in the squad.
Dowie joins Liverpool teammates Gemma Bonner, Lucy Bronze and Fara Williams in Brent Hills' squad for the matches with Belarus on September 21 and Turkey on September 26.
