Liverpool Ladies will play in the Women's Champions League next season after Arsenal were deducted points on Monday.

The Gunners ladies were deducted three points after fielding an unregistered player in the league, during the win over Liverpool on August 3.

This now means Arsenal cannot catch Liverpool and Champions League football is now secured for the 2014 season. The top two teams in the Super League qualify for the competition.

Matt Beard's side currently top the table and are one game away from winning the title.

The Reds just need one point and face challengers Bristol Academy in what is sure to be a thrilling title decider at the Halton Stadium on Sunday, September 29.
