Jordan Henderson is set to play his 100th game for Liverpool against his former club Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday. Here are all the facts and figures from club statto Ged Rea.

Liverpool's No.14 scored four league goals in 71 games for Sunderland and five in 79 in all competitions. He made his Liverpool debut against the Black Cats, also played his 50th game against them and could now make his 100th appearance for Liverpool against the team he left in the summer of 2011.

Last season the sides drew 1-1 in the meeting at the Stadium of Light with Luis Suarez (71 minutes) equalising Steven Fletcher's first-half goal.

In the return on the second day of the New Year, Liverpool won 3-0 at Anfield with Luis Suarez scoring twice after Raheem Sterling had opened the Reds' account.

If the Reds win on Sunday they will record their 400th victory in the Premier League.

In the 24 Premier League meetings between the teams, Liverpool have won 13, drawn eight and lost three, while on Wearside they have won seven and drawn two of the dozen clashes.

The last hat-trick from a Liverpool player against the Black Cats was by Roger Hunt at Anfield in February 1966.

Liverpool have suffered only three defeats in the last 28 league visits to Sunderland dating back to 1959. They have won 16 and drawn nine, but have been beaten in two of the last four.

The last Liverpool player sent off in this fixture was Momo Sissoko, dismissed for two yellow-card offences in November 2005.

Simon Mignolet played 101 times for Sunderland in his three-year spell with Sunderland, including 90 in the league. He was the only man to start all 38 of the Black Cats' league games last season and kept 11 clean sheets.

He played six times for Sunderland against Liverpool - keeping one clean sheet in their last win over Liverpool in March 2012.

Luis Suarez has scored five goals in his five games against Sunderland but missed a penalty against them at Anfield in August 2011.

He is in contention to play his first league game for the Reds since netting a stoppage-time equaliser against Chelsea back in April.

Suarez scored his first away goal for Liverpool at the Stadium of Light in a 2-0 win in March 2011 - the Reds' last win on the ground.

Daniel Sturridge has scored seven goals in his last four away league games. He has scored 10 goals in his last 10 Premier League appearances.

Raheem Sterling's last league goal for Liverpool came in the 3-0 home win over Sunderland back in January.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last six league games on the road, winning four and drawing two.

Sunderland go into this game having won just two of their last 20 league games. This is their first game since they parted company with Paolo Di Canio last weekend.

Under the Italian they played 12 league games winning two and losing seven. The two victories came within the first couple of weeks of him taking charge when they won 3-0 at Newcastle and beat Everton 1-0 at home last April.

Since those victories the Black Cats have picked up just three points out of a possible 27.

Sunderland lie at the foot of the table with one point from their opening five games. They lost 1-0 at home to Fulham on the opening day and picked up their solitary point in the following game at Southampton.

Since then they have lost at Crystal Palace, at home to Arsenal and at West Brom last weekend, conceding three goals in each of those games. They have not registered a clean sheet in the last nine league games.

In midweek, they beat Peterborough 2-0 at home in the League Cup with Kevin Ball taking temporary charge. Emanuele Giaccherini and Valentin Roberge (his first for the club), securing the win.

In front of their own fans they have won five of the last 25 home games in the league.

On Sunday they could be without the two men who started up front for them at West Brom last time out. Fabio Borini is on loan from Liverpool so cannot play while Steven Fletcher (their leading scorer last season with 11 goals) was injured last weekend.

Scorers this season (league in brackets):

Sunderland: Giaccherini 2 (1), Wickham 2 (0), Altidore 1 (0), Fletcher 1 (1), Gardner 1 (1), Johnson 1 (0), Roberge 1 (0).
