Fresh from being crowned the champions of the Women's Super League, Liverpool Ladies joined their male counterparts at the Melwood training complex on Tuesday morning for breakfast with the first-team squad.

The Reds ladies lifted the title for the first time in their history on Sunday after a 2-0 victory over Bristol Academy at the Halton Stadium.

Following their triumph, Brendan Rodgers extended a special invitation to Matt Beard and his ladies to enjoy breakfast with the men's team at Melwood.

On Monday evening, Liverpool Ladies hosted their end-of-season awards dinner at Anfield, where some of their title-winning stars were honoured for their performances over the course of last season.

Second top-scorer, Nicole Rolser, was presented with the Young Player of the Year accolade by Philippe Coutinho, while Iago Aspas handed over the Supporters' Player of the Year gong to leading goal-getter, Natasha Dowie.

Captain Gemma Bonner was selected as Beard's Manager's Player of the Year and she then presented the Players' Player of the Year trophy to Lucy Bronze.

The ceremony was concluded with a Special Contribution Award presented by LFC managing director Ian Ayre to Colin Charlton for the work he has done with the ladies since their inception.
