Hillsborough families honoured at awards
The families of the 96 Liverpool supporters who died at Hillsborough were honoured at the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain awards on Monday evening.
A special recognition award was collected by Margaret Aspinall, chairwomen of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, on behalf of the families in acknowledgment of their long search for truth and justice.
It was handed over to her by Kenny Dalglish, Jamie Carragher, John Barnes and John Bishop at the ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
The Pride of Britain awards will be televised on Tuesday evening on ITV at 8pm BST.
