Wilson called into full Wales squad
Liverpool Academy starlet Harry Wilson has been called into the full Wales squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Belgium.
The 16-year-old was drafted into Chris Coleman's 23-man squad on Wednesday following a string of impressive performances for Wales U17s against Hungary, Scotland and Slovenia.
Wilson, who has been part of the Reds' youth set-up since he was eight, will gain invaluable experience of being around the national side as they take on Macedonia at Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, October 11.
He'll also get the chance to travel to Brussels for the clash against table-topping Belgium at the King Baudouin Stadium on Tuesday, October 15.
Meanwhile, Academy youngsters Kristof Polgar, Alex O'Hanlon and Daniel Cleary are all currently away on international duty at U19 level with their respective countries.
Danny Ward and Vilyan Bijev are involved at U21 level - and Ryan Kent is part of the England U18 side who face Hungary in a friendly match tomorrow.
