Luis Suarez is set to make his 100th appearance for Liverpool against Newcastle United at St James' Park on Saturday. Here are all the facts and figures from club statto Ged Rea.
Liverpool's No.7 has scored 54 times so far. Only nine players have found the net more often in 100 appearances than the Uruguayan - but Ian Rush (56), Gordon Hodgson and Robbie Fowler (55 each) are all within reach. By comparison, the likes of Michael Owen, Kenny Dalglish and Ian St John all scored fewer.
Steven Gerrard scored his 99th league goal for the club in the Reds' last game against Crystal Palace and will become the 12th player to reach three figures for the club.
Last season, Liverpool won 6-0 at Newcastle - their biggest ever win at St James' Park.
The Reds scorers were Daniel Agger (three minutes), Jordan Henderson (17 & 76), Daniel Sturridge (54 & 60) and Fabio Borini (74). It was Newcastle's heaviest home defeat since 1925.
That victory equalled their biggest ever away win in the Barclays Premier League, joining 6-0 wins at both Ipswich (2002) and West Brom (2003).
In the last 14 meetings home and away, the Reds have won 10 and lost three. They have scored in 13 of those games, and on the last seven occasions Liverpool have faced the Magpies in the north east they have scored 19 goals in total.
There has been only draw between the teams in the last 16 league meetings. There has not been a goalless draw in any of the last 56 league fixtures between the teams - a run dating back to February 1974.
The Reds have scored 80 goals against Newcastle in the Premier League (more than against any other team) and the total of 122 is the most of any Premier League fixture involving Liverpool.
