Wilson at the double as U18s win
Welsh starlet Harry Wilson scored twice as Liverpool U18s won 4-2 at Reading on Saturday morning.
The winger is on fire at the moment and has netted in four games in a row, firing six goals in the process.
Wilson gave the Reds an early lead with a deflected effort but, five minutes later, Reading equalised from a corner to level the proceedings.
The home side were then reduced to 10 men when Jerome Sinclair was brought down when running clean through on goal.
Despite the loss of a man, the Royals then took the lead after Liverpool lost possession from their own throw-in, but Wilson was on the mark again to level the scores before the break.
Sinclair netted from the penalty spot after he was brought down again, before Alex O'Hanlon made sure of the three points with a fourth goal in stoppage time.
Reflecting on the win, U18s boss Neil Critchley told Liverpoolfc.com: "I'm really pleased with the performance.
"We played some very good football at times and it was also a good learning curve for the lads playing against 10 men for 75 minutes.
"There are a lot of positives we can take from today."
