Opta statistics back up Brendan Rodgers' description of Liverpool as 'relentless' against Fulham on Saturday, showing that the Northern Irishman's team launched more than 30 efforts on goal.

More than half of those 32 shots were attempted by Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez, who fired nine and 10 times respectively during the 90 minutes at home to the Cottagers.

Nine of the 13 outfield players who appeared at the weekend recorded at least one shot, with Coutinho working away goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg most frequently.

Jordan Henderson matched two-goal Suarez in the creativity department by setting up six goalscoring opportunities, while Lucas Leiva was the most accurate passer with 96.7 per cent.

Interestingly, Glen Johnson took more touches than any other Liverpool player - 133. Coutinho, Henderson and Lucas all passed the century mark in that statistic too.
