Mignolet: We have to build
Simon Mignolet is determined to ensure Liverpool pick up where they left off following the conclusion of the international break.
Many of the Reds' first-team stars jetted off around the globe to represent their countries following Saturday's 4-0 win over Fulham - a result which left them second in the Barclays Premier League table, just two points off league leaders Arsenal.
Mignolet is hoping for more of the same when they reconvene ahead of the clash with Everton at Goodison Park on November 23.
"Things are going well with Liverpool, we won 4-0 last week," said the Belgian goalkeeper.
"We have to build on that start and make sure that after the international break we keep doing the things we are doing.
"It's a still a long way after November until February, there is a long run of games to be played, and hopefully we can do well in them."
Looking ahead to his first experience of a Merseyside derby, Mignolet added: "It's a big team to be played, they have a lot of good players.
"But it's more important how we are going to play the game than our opponents."
