Summer signing Mamadou Sakho has been earmarked as the toughest player to take on at Melwood training sessions, according to aspiring Liverpool forward Jordon Ibe.

The 17-year-old made his senior debut for the Reds in the final match of the 2012-13 campaign before impressing throughout the club's pre-season tour of Indonesia, Australia and Thailand.

In a quirky Q&A published in the official LFC matchday programme, the No.33 reveals the favourite goal of his career so far, why he would never become a referee and how Sakho is a man to avoid in the tackle.

What time is your alarm set for?

8.30am every day. But, to be honest, I don't need an alarm anymore because my body is ready to wake up at that point. I'm always up and about.

What was your childhood nickname?

Just a simple 'Jordy'.

Piece of clothing you've regretted buying?

There haven't been too many. Not too long ago I wore some leather trousers and Jordan Henderson wasn't too impressed. I don't regret buying or wearing them, though.

Subject that you hated at school?

Anything to do with science - chemistry, biology or physics, it didn't matter. I wasn't very good at it.

Who is your best friend in sport?

Two from Wycombe - Anthony Stewart and Charles Dunne. They're both defenders and doing very well. Here, it's Ryan McLaughlin.

Person who makes you laugh?

My step-dad makes me laugh a lot. But here at Liverpool it would be Ryan McLaughlin. He loves a laugh and a joke.

Dining out - starters or dessert?

Always desserts! Any kind of cheesecake - strawberry, blueberry, chocolate.

First pair of boots?

Nike Vapours. They were red.

What is your most unappealing habit?

It's not necessarily unappealing but I always sleep with the light on. I always have. It would probably drive other people crazy but it's something I haven't been able to shake.

Do you sing in the shower?

I do, but only at home, never at Melwood. I sing a lot of Drake songs.

Favourite animal and why?

I have a French bulldog called Simba, after the character in 'The Lion King'. But I wouldn't say dogs are my favourite animals. Elephants maybe.

When you retire, would you ever consider being a referee?

Not in a million years. I heard Jose Enrique said yes. He must be mad!

Best goal that you've scored?

My debut goal for Wycombe against Sheffield Wednesday. I was only 15. I took it past a few men and fired it in the top corner. It was a brilliant moment. My mum was over the other side of the pitch near the front row so I ran over and celebrated with her. I turned around and the referee booked me for it. It was worth it, though.

If you had one last meal, what would it be?

Macaroni cheese.

Last thing you do before leaving the dressing room?

I go to the toilet. I've always been a few times before we go out. It probably has something to do with a few nerves, although I don't really suffer from them.

Best shirt you've swapped for?

I've never done it; I don't think I'm likely to either. I've kept all the major ones, like my debut game for Liverpool.

Film you've watched more than once?

Two jump out. I like 'School of Rock' with Jack Black. Then, all the 'Home Alone' movies - Joe Pesci's brilliant.

Toughest player that you've shared a dressing room with?

That has to be Mamadou Sakho now. He's a mountain. He's caught me a few times in training with big tackles, but I think he's caught everyone!

Other sport that you just don't get?

I've got my head around cricket now, I understand how it all works. So I'll have to say either form of rugby. I never watch it, even if it's a big game like a World Cup.

Wish you were good at?

Playing the piano. My sister is quite good. I used to play the drums in the school band. I like music, but to be really good at an instrument you have to practice a lot. My focus is getting better at football.
