Liverpool Ladies' award-winning manager, Matt Beard, hosted a live Q&A session at the Merseyside Supporters' Club's monthly meeting at Anfield on Monday night.

Matt, who was joined by general manager Angela Roberts, discussed how he managed to turn the team's success around to win the Women's Super League title, how the club is nurturing new talent as well as the Ladies' exciting upcoming season.

Beard said: "It was fantastic to be invited along to speak at the Merseyside Supporters' Club meeting and update the fans on the Liverpool Ladies.

"We have had an incredible year and to share our achievements and plans for the future with the supporters is really important. The fans' enthusiasm and encouragement for the Ladies really reflects Liverpool Football Club's one-club mentality and I hope we will see their support at our games next year."

Matt was awarded with the prestigious FA Manager of the Year award last week at the 15th annual FA Women's Football Awards in London.

The Ladies' star striker Natasha Dowie also picked up two awards at the event, including the FA Players' Player of the Year award and the FA Women's Super League top goalscorer award.
