Liverpool forward Victor Moses would relish the opportunity on Sunday for a repeat of the 'great day' when he notched his first Barclays Premier League goal, against Hull City.

In May 2010, the Nigerian international registered for Wigan Athletic against the Tigers by darting inside from the left flank and sending a precise finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

The 22-year-old scored in similar fashion on his Reds debut in September and hopes his latest meeting with Hull can prompt another memorable strike.

"I remember that goal, it was towards the end of the season," Moses recalled when asked for his memories by Liverpoolfc.com.

"It was a great day for me; I started that game, my first start for Wigan, against Hull and scored a goal in the first half. It was an amazing goal as well, so I was delighted with it.

"We have got them this weekend, we're looking forward to it and hopefully I can come in and do something like I did against them three years ago."

The Reds' journey to Hull begins a packed month which includes seven Premier League fixtures, with away matches at Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Chelsea among them.

Liverpool's No.12 believes the busy festive period will have a crucial impact on the ambitions of the league's leading sides.

"It will mean a lot. It's amazing to play that amount of games," he added. "We just want to go out there this weekend and try to win the game - that's the most important thing.

"Everyone is looking forward to every game we're going to play. Everyone is taking things easy, step-by-step, because we know how hard it is in the Premier League to win games and get three points.

"The manager and the staff know what to do with the players. Hopefully come Sunday, we'll get the three points."
