Liverpool FC's mascot Mighty Red recently went to Alder Hey Children's Hospital to meet their new mascot Oli the Elephant where they both visited some of the children currently staying at the hospital to help bring a bit of fun and warmth to their day.

To help celebrate the Hospital's 100th birthday in 2014 and to help raise money for the new Alder Hey in the Park, Oli has been launched as the official mascot and will be a regular face on the wards of the hospital.

As the official mascot of Liverpool FC, Mighty Red takes part in numerous community activities with the Foundation and is the Reds' No.1 fan. A regular visitor at Alder Hey, he likes to bring a smile to the faces of the patients who are cared for at the hospital.

Mighty Red has his own page on the Kop Kids website where fans can follow his daily adventures, enter competitions and download fun activities. Click here to visit
