You could enjoy a new play chronicling the complete history of Liverpool Football Club in unparalleled style simply by entering a competition launched by the makers of the show.

'The Official History of Liverpool Football Club' takes fans on a theatrical journey from the founding fathers, John Houlding and John McKenna, to Bill Shankly's Anfield revolution and through to the modern day and Brendan Rodgers.

One stunning show captures 120 years of Liverpool history, recounting the tales of five European Cups, the heroes who have worn Red, the triumphs and the tragedies, and sharing the unforgettable songs which have provided the soundtrack.

Written by lifelong Reds supporter Nicky Allt, the relaunched show will run at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool for three weeks from Friday, March 7, 2014 until Saturday, March 29, 2014.

Now a lucky winner is being offered the opportunity to see the play in VIP fashion with a total of eight people, including meals and the chance to meet the cast and a former player at a performance of their choice.

To enter the competition, email the answer to the following question - In what year did Liverpool FC win the Football League championship for the first time? - to admin@liverpoolfc.com with your full name, address, contact details and preferred performance date.
