Ahead of today's clash, West Ham fan Billy Cormack provides the view from the opposition, reminiscing on highs and lows against Liverpool and soaking up the 'amazing' Anfield atmosphere.

Tell us about West Ham's season so far...

We haven't had the best first half of the season, but I think that has been down to injuries within the squad. There have been some very poor performances as well, such as the 1-0 loss against Crystal Palace mid-week and the 3-1 defeat against Norwich. We have to be getting three points against teams like that, but we've also had a handful of good games that have kept us out of the bottom three, such as wins over Tottenham and Fulham.

You seem to have amassed a collection of former Liverpool players in your squad. How have they fared this season?

I think they have all been brilliant. Stewart Downing was a questionable signing at first, but he has definitely proved that he wants to play for West Ham with his recent form. Joe Cole is of course a West Ham fan and always puts 100 per cent into every game. I'm sure Downing and Cole would also be much more effective if Andy Carroll managed to get fit!

If you could take one player from Liverpool to West Ham, who would it be?

Got to be Luis Suarez - unbelievable player!

If you were Brendan Rodgers on Saturday, you would tell your team to...

Giving the recent form of Liverpool, I would say go out there and keep doing what they've been doing.

How much do West Ham fans look forward to facing Liverpool and making the trip to Anfield?

West Ham fans love making the trip up to Anfield. There is always an amazing atmosphere buzzing around the stadium, and both sets of fans and players are very passionate about their teams, so it's always a decent trip.

If you could re-live one Liverpool v West Ham moment from the past, which one would you chose?

When Paul Konchesky scored the third in the FA Cup final in 2006. I really thought we were going to hold on to the win from there, in fact that whole game was brilliant!

And one you'd rather forget...

Steven Gerrard's 90th minute goal in the Cup final, and Anton Ferdinand's awful penalty!

Prediction

I'll go for 1-1. I can't see us getting three points, but I'd be very happy with a draw.
