Glen targets home and away blend
The next challenge for Liverpool is to recreate their prolific performances on home soil in three heavyweight encounters during December, according to defender Glen Johnson.
In beating West Ham United 4-1 at Anfield on Saturday, the Reds claimed a fifth consecutive victory in L4 and extended their scoring streak to 20 goals in those fixtures.
Johnson and co travel to Tottenham Hotspur this Sunday before further tests at Barclays Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea before 2013 concludes.
Now the England international is targeting similar displays away from home to ensure the Reds can maintain their current position within the Premier League top four.
"We've bounced back from the defeat to Hull and we couldn't have done much more in the games against Norwich and West Ham," the No.2 said.
"We have scored 20 goals in our last five home games, which is quite impressive. It is what all the top teams try to do - make their home ground a fortress.
"We have some tough away games coming up. We only worry about the next one and I am sure we will step it up for the so-called bigger teams.
"If we can start scoring a few more goals away and pick up a few more points it will blend in nicely with our home record. We are good enough to be up there. If we keep picking up points it will take care of itself."

Brendan Rodgers' side were denied a clean sheet against the Hammers by an unfortunate second-half own goal from centre-back Martin Skrtel.
The response from the hosts was instant, however, and Johnson is confident that the back four will strengthen exponentially in the coming weeks and months.
"There were stages in the game when it was 2-0 when it looked like they wouldn't get out their half but goals change games," he continued.
"After they scored they put a bit of pressure on but we coped. At 2-1 we didn't do anything wrong. When a team gets one goal back they are going to be perked up, but the lads were brave. We stood strong and sucked up all the pressure.
"We were good enough and strong enough to withstand that and go up the other end and score two.
"Every defender aims for a clean sheet. If you keep a clean sheet you can't lose a game, but on the other hand if you score four every week you are happy.
"Of course there is going to be a point when you don't score four. The back four has changed quite a bit through the season because of injury and illness but we have some great players and I'm sure we'll start keeping clean sheets."
