Comedy night to support military vets
The Liverpool FC Foundation are hosting their first ever military veterans comedy night at the Slaughterhouse pub in Fenwick Street, Liverpool on Wednesday, December 11, at 8pm GMT.
A fantastic night's entertainment is guaranteed and there are some great acts on show so come along and support a truly great cause.
The Liverpool FC Foundation, the club's official charity, recently launched a military veterans programme which aims to re-engage ex-service personnel with physical activity and help to recapture their spirit of service.
The programme, part funded by Typhoo Tea, aims to engage with the 30,000 military veterans currently in Liverpool and provide support for when they return to civilian life.
Amongst the acts on show tonight will be Liverpool's comedian of the year Chris Cairns, the acclaimed Sol Bernstein, and TV stars Steve Shanyaski and Jamie Sutherland.
