Mignolet opens new LFC store
Our last line of defence Simon Mignolet was guest of honour as he officially opened the new Liverpool FC store in the Pyramids, Birklenhead.
Officially opening the new Birkenhead branch of Liverpool FC's retail stores, the Belgian joined in the celebrations with the hundreds of Reds fans that turned up to meet the player, who signed autographs and posed for photographs.
Commenting on opening night, Mignolet said: "It's a great honour to come and officially open the new LFC store in Birkenhead.
"Liverpool FC is a global brand and the support from our fans is absolutely fantastic, so it's great that our supporters from across the Mersey now have their very own Club store."
The 1,400 sq. ft. unit is the first to showcase the Reds' new retail concept, which will be the model for a roll-out of new-look stores across the world.
Located in the Pyramids Shopping Centre, the store sells everything Liverpool FC related and provides the large number of Reds fans on the Wirral with an easy-access outlet to get hold of the latest club merchandise.
The Pyramids Shopping centre shop is now one of the club's six outlets across the UK, including Anfield, Liverpool One, Williamson Square, Chester and Belfast.
