'How I think Jose will play it today'
Chelsea fan Harry Edwards provides us with the view from Stamford Bridge ahead of Liverpool's trip to London today…
Tell us about Chelsea's season so far...
I think generally the fans are upbeat about Mourinho, even if we haven't taken off in the way we did under him in his first spell. We've been by no means setting the world alight, and in truth he's been pretty erratic with selections and tactics, but I think he's trying to find a way to incorporate some of the attacking flair we saw in patches under Di Matteo and the tactical pragmatism under Benitez during last season. The general feeling is though that it can be no bad sign that we are not playing particularly well but are still right up there.
Do these Chelsea v Liverpool games still mean as much as they did when Mourinho was first here?
Those games under Mourinho and Benitez did carry something particularly special about them, particularly for the fans, that I think we're unlikely to see again, but the game has always been more special since then for me. I think there were probably more fans than it seemed who actually had a secret respect for Benitez last season, but Mourinho has always been the hero at Chelsea and there was nothing that was going to change that.
How will Jose play it on Sunday and who is the dangerman we should be fearful of?
Mourinho tends to play it pretty safe against some of the more dangerous teams and has taken a bit of stick for it, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea be fairly cautious against a Liverpool side who, to my eyes, look a much more fluent unit than we do. I imagine there will be a lot of emphasis on frustrating Liverpool's key players and building an attacking platform from there. Hazard is definitely a player that looks to upset defences in terms of our dangerous players, but Lampard still continues to get more goals than our hapless strikers and is key to all things we do, despite his age.
Which Liverpool players would you rather see wearing blue on Sunday?
I don't think there's a team in the world that wouldn't be improved by having Suarez in it, but away from the obvious, I've always been a fan of Lucas, and it's good to see young players like Flanagan getting a run of games and doing well, something we so rarely see at Chelsea.
Favourite Chelsea v Liverpool memory?
My favourite memories are probably of the 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League in 2009 because I really can't remember another game as up and down as that, and one we thankfully came out on top of.
One you'd rather forget...
One I'd rather forget - obviously certain goal-line moments spring to mind, but it's not one to dwell on; Liverpool went on have a great final against the odds as we did in Munich, so I'd probably cite one that may be more forgotten - and that is losing 2-1 to Liverpool in the semi-final of the FA Cup in 2006.
Prediction?
I'll say 1-1 draw.
