TackleAfrica recently transferred their particular set of skills from the African continent to the Liverpool FC Foundation with a special training session for the organisation's coaches.

The partner of Standard Chartered provides HIV education through football coaching across Africa, teaching young people how to avoid contracting HIV, how to live with HIV and how to support others.

These targets are achieved solely on the football pitch by utilising the collected experience and knowledge in unique interactive football drills to engage with youngsters on difficult subjects.

The master coaches of TackleAfrica attempted to 'coach the coaches' during their visit to the Foundation, sharing the work they undertake - including practical sessions which the hosts can now implement across the globe.

Coaches at the Foundation can export the lessons they learned to the charity's international programme, which provides opportunities for a diverse range of communities and individuals.

Using the support of global partners such as Standard Chartered, the inspirational programme delivers professional coaching clinics and educational workshops throughout the world.

For example, the Foundation will travel to a number of countries during the calendar year of 2014, including Indonesia, the Netherlands, Senegal, Switzerland and USA.
