Sakho teaches skills on school return
Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho continued his new ambassadorial role with the Liverpool FC Foundation by returning to All Saints Primary School in Anfield this week.
The France international assisted with coaching the pupils football and teaching his native language, French, as part of his active participation with the club's official charity.
Sakho helps the Foundation's community coaches, who deliver football sessions at the school on a weekly basis and aid students with verbal and reading elements of their language studies.
The 23-year-old commented: "I enjoyed meeting with the pupils again and helping them with their French reading and football coaching session.
"Being able to give something back to the local community via the Liverpool FC Foundation is really important to me.
"I am really passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge with young people and helping them to develop and gain as many opportunities in life as possible."
Mark Haig, the Foundation's head of operations, said: "Mamadou is a fantastic ambassador for the Foundation and his enthusiasm and commitment really shines through.
"He is assisting with important work at the school and his ongoing input will continue to have a positive impact on the pupils."
