'This one is all about our attitude'

Having spent more than a decade at the highest level of the English game, the Reds defender has learned everything about the unique difficulties thrown up by world football's oldest cup competition.

Brendan Rodgers and many of his squad are equally aware of the inherent dangers of tackling a team from a lower division, having been eliminated at this stage by Oldham Athletic one year ago.

Toure, therefore, has urged his colleagues to approach the encounter at the Goldsands Stadium with the requisite mentality to ensure Liverpool are included in Sunday's fifth-round draw.

"Attitude is so important when you play against lower-league opposition," the 32-year-old explained to the Liverpool Echo.

"It doesn't matter who you play, there are no easy games in the FA Cup. As a team you have to make the game easy.

"Even if you play against an U20 side and you are not focused, they can give you some problems. I'm confident that this team has the right attitude. Everyone in training is fighting for their place.

"Bournemouth have nothing to lose and it will be a huge occasion for them but that is why we love the FA Cup.

"They will fight for their lives but we will fight for our lives too. We want to win and we must treat it like a Premier League game."
