Not only is Daniel Sturridge in lethal form for Liverpool in real life, but it has been revealed that the prolific striker leads the Barclays Premier League scoring charts on the EA SPORTS FIFA14 videogame.

This week, the makers of the popular football simulation released a countdown of the finishers who supporters have guided to find the back of the net more than any other - with two Reds forwards included.

The actual top scorer in the Premier League, Luis Suarez, ranked 10th in the FIFA14 standings, while his partner-in-crime at Anfield, Sturridge, claimed the No.1 spot having fired more than 14million times.

It's not the only honour the No.15 can boast on FIFA14 either; the 24-year-old's unique dance celebration, so often displayed this season, is the most used by gamers to mark their latest strike.

Upon hearing the news, the man himself commented: "I just heard that I'm the top scoring player in the Premier League on FIFA14.

"I do love a bit of FIFA14 with my mates and I'm sure I've scored a few of those goals myself. I just hope people are doing my celebration after they score as me too!"
