Baggies fan Ben Ruhrmund provides the view from the Hawthorns ahead of today's game - and explains why he admires the sheer work-rate of Liverpool's No.7, Luis Suarez.

Talk us through what's happened at West Brom since you last met Liverpool at Anfield...

Well, we have not gone well. After a poor run into Christmas, our chairman decided to pull the trigger on Steve Clarke, with a mixed response from the supporters. We've subsequently appointed Pepe Mel.

What has been the fans' response to the new manager?

I personally felt that Clarke deserved longer, but the appointment has been positively met by most Albion supporters. Even if we were collectively unsure on the sacking, we always tend to give our backing to any new manager. He looks like he wants to play at a high tempo and once he evaluates the squad he should be a decent choice.

Who is the one man most likely to sway Sunday's game in the Baggies' favour?

Probably one of the old guard, Chris Brunt or James Morrison. Although watch out for Saido Berahino if he gets on, serious talent.

There will be no repeat of the 4-1 Anfield scoreline because...

Without wishing to be negative, I'm not sure we'll get the one! Hopefully, if he picks the right back four, we should be better - but with all due respect, we shouldn't be shipping four goals against Villa!

Before the last meeting of the sides, you identified Suarez as the danger man and he scored a sublime hat-trick at Anfield. Where does he rank among the opposition strikers you've watched down the years?

He's right up there; his movement is awesome and he creates such a threat from open play, as well as dead-ball situations. He's not a luxury player either because of his work-rate. Now he has a partner you should be in the mix.

Have you got a favourite West Brom v Liverpool memory from down the years?

Either of the more recent wins at Anfield. Incredible results. The second one in particular, with Ben Foster's penalty save in front of the Kop and Romelu Lukaku bullying his way through to seal it was great!

And one you'd rather forget?

God - how long have you got? You regularly hammered us in our early Premier League days, particularly at the Hawthorns. Michael Owen and Robbie Fowler still give me nightmares. The 0-6 was the worst though, it should have been 12!

Any tips for away fans travelling to the Hawthorns on Sunday?

Leave early, traffic has been woeful of late. If you're looking for a pint, head to the Vine, nice food, good beers and always friendly.
