'All week to prepare for a massive test'
Simon Mignolet reflected on Sunday's 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion with a mixture of frustration and defiance after watching Liverpool let a lead slip at the Hawthorns.
Luis Suarez's sheer ingenuity when hemmed in from all angles inside the penalty area allowed Daniel Sturridge to hand the Reds a platform in the match after 24 minutes of play.
But, in the 67th minute, former Everton man Victor Anichebe seized upon a stray pass from Kolo Toure, after Mignolet rolled him the ball, and tucked a shot into the bottom corner of the Belgian's net for 1-1.
Afterwards, the stopper felt the point could yet prove to be a positive one - and insisted that the focus will now turn to the visit of Arsenal, for which his side has ample time to prepare.
"If you play away from home in the Premier League, there are no easy games," Mignolet told Liverpoolfc.com.
"I think we dominated in the first half. Deservedly, we made it 1-0 and we created some chances. But when you came away from home, you know you're going to be under pressure.
"Unfortunately we conceded at the end and so we have to move on with a point. A point in the Premier League is never a bad point.
"We've got a massive game [against Arsenal] at the weekend and we have a whole week to prepare ourselves for that game and we'll turn our focus to that."
The draw meant Liverpool failed to fully capitalise on a weekend where both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, potential top-four challengers, dropped points.
However, Brendan Rodgers' side still occupy the last of the Champions League spots, two points clear of fifth-placed Everton and three behind Chelsea in third with 14 games still to play.
"We'll try to do our best," said Mignolet. "There's still a long way to go before the end of the season and we have to pick up as many points as we can along the way.
"We have to make sure that we stay where we are, stay focused and be confident that we can get into the top four at the end of the season.
"For me, conceding is always a disappointment, but you have to accept these things. But we have to move on and make sure we take the positives and the negatives out of this game into the next one."
