Suarez scoops January fan award
Luis Suarez has today been named as the FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month for January.
The award comes on the back of another outstanding month for the Uruguayan, in which he struck four times and helped the Reds maintain their push for a top-four finish by winning three of their quartet of Barclays Premier League games.
Suarez fired against Hull City, hit two in a pulsating 5-3 win at Stoke City, and made his mark on the Merseyside derby by finding the target in the 4-0 win over Everton.
The FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month awards are designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game. They are endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs.
