Aldo donates Golden Boot to LFC museum
Former Reds goal-getter John Aldridge made a personal journey to the Liverpool FC Story on Monday to officially donate his Golden Boot prize to the interactive museum collection at Anfield.
The ex-Liverpool striker's honour had been part of the illustrious display at the club's museum since its launch in October 2013, but the 55-year-old wanted to mark the donation in person.
Backed by state-of-the-art technology, the Liverpool FC Story provides supporters with the perfect method of exploring the past and present via a series of unforgettable exhibitions.
Visiting fans can take a look at the Reds' five European Cups at the closest of quarters, in addition to the wealth of silverware proudly on show from the club's unrivalled history, and hear fascinating facts from Mighty Red.
