Aldo: Rushie was Bugsy's favourite
To mark Ronnie Moran's 80th birthday, we've been busy speaking to the people he inspired during his time at Anfield - and, naturally, the odd humorous tale has been brought to the fore.
In this short montage below, we've collated some of the more light-hearted recollections from a handful of Liverpool icons, for whom Moran was both a role model and, at times, a harsh taskmaster.
And one of the highlights is John Aldridge's theory; that Moran always possessed a soft-spot for Ian Rush, who could do no wrong in training. We even put this to Rushie, and he certainly didn't disagree...
