The brilliant play which tells the entire history of Liverpool Football Club, 'YNWA', returns to the Royal Court Theatre on Friday night in front of a sell-out crowd.

The brainchild of boyhood Red Nicky Allt, 'YNWA - The Official History of Liverpool Football Club' charts more than 120 years of Liverpool FC, from Elisha Scott to current captain Steven Gerrard, Rome to Istanbul, and everything in between.

Created by local writer Allt, with full backing and access to archives from the club itself, 'YNWA' stars Mark Moraghan, Jake Abraham and Lindzi Germain and opens tonight.

Speaking about the return of the play that first hit the stage in 2011, Allt told Liverpoolfc.com: "This is an ever-evolving play and will always change. When we last did it Kenny Dalglish was back as manager and now we have Brendan Rodgers.

"There's that much history with Liverpool that this play is never going to stop and we're hoping this play runs for another 20 years.

"There's a lot of differences to the last time. The cast has changed, we have some different musical numbers, we have different scenes and the ending is different - which is major.

"We can't wait for the first night and the roof is going to come off."

'YNWA' will run at the Royal Court Liverpool from March 7 until Saturday, March 29 - with tickets available from £13 - before transferring to the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin from Wednesday, April 2 until Sunday, April 13.

It is a production that no Liverpool supporter will want to miss, so make sure to get your ticket now; to book, call 0870 787 1866 or click here to visit the Royal Court Liverpool website.
