Liverpool played their part as a sensational night of football unfolded in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday – but the Reds ultimately suffered penalty heartbreak at the hands of Reading.
Jordan Williams and Jordan Rossiter scored in normal time to level a two-goal deficit and take the game beyond the allotted 90 minutes. Daniel Trickett-Smith and Harry Wilson then struck for the Reds.
