Skrtel: Why I'll always remember it
Martin Skrtel reflected on Liverpool's stunning 3-0 victory over Manchester United and declared: 'It's a day I'll never forget'.
The Reds were in sumptuous form as two Steven Gerrard penalties and a Luis Suarez strike secured the three points at Old Trafford and moved them back into second place in the Barclays Premier League table.
Skrtel told his official website: "It was a wonderful match - one that I will always remember. We were really good and nearly perfect.
"Obviously it is a place where it is never easy to win, so I am really happy.
"We scored three times and we could have scored even more. We also controlled the possession so this time we can say that we are really satisfied.
"I am also happy that we kept our clean sheet. Now we must show our improvement against Cardiff."
