Guard of honour for Reds' Anfield return
Liverpool fans were out in force on Anfield Road to welcome the team coach into Anfield before Wednesday night's clash with Sunderland in the Barclays Premier League.
Following three successive away wins, the Reds returned to their home ground to a truly special greeting, organised by fan group 'Spion Kop 1906', who also arrange colourful flag and banner displays on the Kop before every home game.
The group took inspiration for the display of support from a similar showing that inspired their team to a much-needed victory against Tottenham Hotspur in January 2010.
