Katarina Johnson-Thompson was at Anfield on Sunday to cheer on her beloved Reds and accept a prestigious award from the club's all-time greatest goalscorer, Ian Rush.

Katarina, born and raised in Liverpool, is a hugely successful track and field star, who represented Great Britain in the heptathlon at the 2012 London Olympics.

The talented 21-year-old scooped silver at Barcelona's World Indoor Championships earlier the same year and, in February 2014, she set a new British indoor high jump record of 1.96 metres.

Katarina's achievements were recognised recently by British Athletics, who chose her as the recipient of their Young Athlete of the Year award.

Fittingly, at half-time during the Reds' stunning 4-0 demolition of Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, Katarina took to the field, where she was presented the prize by Reds icon, Rush.
