There was Wembley heartache for Conor Coady as Sheffield United were beaten 5-3 by Hull City in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday afternoon.

The Blades twice led in the game, but Steve Bruce's side showed their Premier League class to bounce back and book their ticket for the final against Arsenal.

The game was preceded by a minute's silence in memory of the 96 who lost their lives at Hillsborough and both sets of players wore black armbands.

Former Everton starlet Jose Baxter gave the Blades a dream start when he fired the opener and then poignantly kissed his black armband during the celebrations as a tribute to the 96.

Although Yannick Sagbo levelled in the 42nd minute two minutes later Nigel Clough's side were ahead again when Stefan Scougall made it 2-1.

However, in the second half Hull stormed back to lead 4-2 through Matty Fryatt, Tom Huddlestone and Stephen Quinn before Jamie Murphy set up a frantic finish to make it 4-3. In stoppage time though, Bruce's side sealed the win through a strike from David Meyler.

Coady played the full 90 minutes for the Blades.
