Reds unchanged for Chelsea showdown
Brendan Rodgers has selected an unchanged line-up for Liverpool's Barclays Premier League clash with Chelsea at Anfield today.
The boss has kept faith in the same starting XI that battled to a memorable, slender 3-2 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road last weekend.
Daniel Sturridge, who was withdrawn during the Reds' last home game against Manchester City two weeks ago, returns to the set-up and is named on the substitutes' bench.
With Jordan Henderson still unavailable due to suspension, Lucas Leiva and Joe Allen join Steven Gerrard in the midfield as the Reds aim to make it 12 consecutive league victories.
Luis Suarez will lead the line by himself, supplemented by the threat of Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling, on a day when Anfield is set to be rocking once again.
The Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Skrtel, Sakho, Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez.
Substitutes: Jones, Toure, Agger, Cissokho, Alberto, Aspas, Sturridge.
