Boss: New strip nods to club's history
Brendan Rodgers believes Liverpool's brand new 2014-15 Warrior away kit will be universally approved by players and supporters alike after the strip was unveiled in Dublin on Wednesday.
Fans were afforded a maiden glimpse of the all-yellow design via a live Google+ Hangout today, before the squad will run out in the colours for their post-season friendly against Shamrock Rovers at the Aviva Stadium.
The newly-crowned League Managers Association Manager of the Year envisages a positive response to the revamped kit, which brings together an exciting new era with an illustrious past.
"We're looking to build a new era, while remembering this club's great history, including the FA Cup final in 2001 - and this shirt is one the fans and the players will respond to," said Rodgers.
