LFC TV set to launch 'World Stars' series
In just a month's time, all eyes will be on Brazil and one of the biggest events in world sport - the 2014 World Cup will bring together 32 nations, all competing for a chance to win the most sought-after trophy in football.
From these nations, some of the most talented players in the world will dazzle fans on this global stage with their stunning displays of skill, flair and passion.
To set the scene ahead of the tournament, LFC TV is launching a brand new 20-part series; 'World Stars' will form the centre-piece of the channel's schedule in the build-up to the event in South America.
Each 13-minute episode features exclusive interviews and match footage of 20 stars who are being tipped to light up this summer's four-week-long footballing festival.
Every show focuses on a different player and these in-depth profiles will reveal why they are some of the most celebrated names in world football right now.
Among a star-studded cast, which includes the likes of Andres Iniesta, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, are Liverpool favourites Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
Dietmar Hamann will be among the guests launching the 'World Stars' series at 8pm BST on Thursday, following the channel's weekly show, 'Thursday Night Live'.
LFC TV can be viewed on Sky channel 429 and Virgin Media channel 544 (as part of the XL pack). Click here for information on how to tune in.
