Gerrard looks ahead to the World Cup
Steven Gerrard knows better than most what it means to represent your country at 'The Greatest Show On Earth', having been a part of two previous England World Cup squads, in 2006 and 2010.
The latest instalment of the competition, in Brazil this summer, holds greater significance for the Liverpool captain, though, as he leads Roy Hodgson's charges into battle, looking to add to an impressive 109 international caps and 21 goals for the Three Lions.
Gerrard, who skippered the Reds to second place in the Barclays Premier League this season, is now eagerly anticipating the beginning of the showpiece tournament, which gets underway on June 12.
"I'm still living the dream," admitted Gerrard. "I just want to enjoy every day and every minute. If I can achieve a couple more big things in my career before I finish, I'll be a very satisfied man."
Ahead of the World Cup, LFC TV will be rolling out a brand new 20-part series called 'World Stars', which will form the centre-piece of the channel's schedule in the build-up to the event in South America.
The show will officially be launched on Thursday night at 8pm BST on LFC TV - but before then, we're giving LFCTV GO subscribers the opportunity to watch the second segment of the series - an in-depth feature on Gerrard - before anyone else.
